I took a hike in mid September and found some winter. It was nice in the Jewel Basin parking lot, but climbing Mount Aeneas, I had to turn around before getting all the way to the top because of the snow . . . here are some pictures.

We tried to get to Cliff Lake again the last weekend in September.
The snow didn't look that bad . . .
But we got pretty wet and cold . . . here is where we turned around.
