Along with the rhythms, I have posted mp3 files for members of our group.  If you listen carefully, you should be able to hear the parts that we have learned.  These files are computer generated using a program called Percussion Studio, available as Shareware from Henry Kellner, and highly recommended.  If anyone wants to have the original .pcc files (or if you just have comments), you can email me and let me know what you want.

Many of these can be found on various CD's in "real" versions.  Some of the albums highly recommended are:

Famoudou Konaté & l'Ensemble Hamana Dan Ba: Guinée percussions et chants Malinké.

Famoudou Konaté: Hamana Foli Kan and many others

Mamady Keita: Afo, Sila Laka, and many others

Matthew Marsolek: Grooves

These CDs should be available for order online at the African Rhythm Traders (www.africanrhythmtraders.com) or at the Drum Brothers site (www.drumbrothers.com)
